Here is the new certification obtained from Punto Netto
News: The Control Shipping Level is a process of inspection that is carried out by a third-party certification body, accredited at the customer's facility, in the plants of suppliers of the automotive sector in the FCA, and is aimed at controlling and preventing the shipment of materials and
non-conforming products.
The shipment of the product happens only to the passing of a rigorous control carried out from a team of high-qualified technicians who work with a view to safety, impartiality and prevention of conflicts of interest.
In particular, the CSL level 2 verifies the conformity of products is based on a specific and pre-defined control cycles, in order to remove at the root the non-conformity factors.
The second level control consists of a series of inspections, carried out on 100% of the stock and carried out within a pre-established period, aimed not only at checking the quality of the product but also and especially to prevent it from arriving at the assembly line with anomalies already found, serious or repeated. The end-of-line check shall ensure the final quality of the product, to detect non-conformities in the shortest possible time and to re-establish the efficiency of a series production.
The product, which successfully passes the barrier of checks at the end of the production line, will then be shipped from the supplier establishment as certified stock.
Last June 7th, Punto Netto obtained from FCA the accreditation for the activities of CSL2 and it is has been included in the list of third party bodies authorised by the Turin group to carry out controls in as long as they have the required qualifications.
With this new accreditation, Punto Netto expands its range of action in the field of Automotive and makes use of its twenty years of experience gained in the activities of controls quality and non-destructive testing.
