Punto Netto enters the world of three-dimensional control and opens its Metrology Laboratory in the industrial area of Bari - Modugno.

We broaden the horizons of our skills with the Coord 3 Universal, Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) for the three-dimensional control, analysis and reconstruction of surfaces. A cutting-edge machine, certified by Accredia according to the UNI EN ISO 10360-2: 2010 standard, characterized by performance at the top of the category and configured with indexable motorized tool heads, point-to-point, continuous and laser probes.

The Metrology Laboratory inaugurated this year in the industrial area of Bari is a candidate to be the reference point for intercepting all the needs of our customers operating in Puglia and throughout Southern Italy.






In our metrology laboratory you will find:

• - a cold and hot washing system to clean any components before measurements


• - a multifunction room equipped with a video wall where training courses will be held focusing both on the use of the CMM software and on the most advanced techniques in the field of industrial metrology


• - an educational area with 12 workstations dedicated to professional updating both in the context of three-dimensional checks; quality controls and non-destructive tests


• - a darkened cabin to carry out magnetoscopic checkings

Thanks to the UCC S3 RENISHAW control and the advanced measurement software, Punto Netto will be able to certify every aspect concerning the quotas and measurements of the products subject to inspection and control activities. The new machine can be used both for traditional point-to-point metrological controls and for the most advanced scanning cycles both in contact and with laser technology.

At the Bari Metrology Laboratory, where our quality controls, non-destructive tests and inspections staff already work constantly, we have activated a real Demo Center where all our potential customers will be able to touch the news of the TOUCH DMIS software accompanying the CMM which, over the years, has been able to establish itself as the best program for ease of use and completeness of functions.

Also in support of the CMM, there will be an additional statistical software ITASTAT 6 ANALYSIS, fully compliant with the ANFIA ISO TS 16946 guidelines and responding to the FORD tests. Finally, integrated with the statistical software, the ITASELECT module will also operate, allowing the production of special reports such as CP / CPKs.

To ensure the complete functionality of the Bari metrology laboratory, there will be 5 experienced operators in metrological controls coordinated by an area manager. Our CMM Coord3 can be considered an excellent compendium for all those who need to quickly check their measuring instruments in all those cases where it is not necessary to contact an accredited laboratory for calibration (LAT).

THE CMM COORD3

COORD3 is a leading company in the supply of coordinate measuring machines. Founded in 1973, today it can boast over 3000 units installed all over the world. The Universal family represents the latest generation of CMMs on the market today.

Thanks to its exceptional structural rigidity, the CMM Universal is particularly suitable for the use of 5-axis scanning systems and for the measurement of gears and toothed wheels. The machinery supplied in the Bari Metrology Laboratory integrates an automatic thermal compensation system with wireless technology that is able to dynamically correct the errors induced by environmental temperature variations between 16 and 26 degrees and with high optical scales. resolution released from the support it is possible to avoid all those distortions induced by the deformation of the main structure.

Thanks to the agreement we have signed with Coord3, a highly qualified assistance service will also be provided for all our customers, which will include:

• - Offline DMIS programming with testing consultancy in the relationships between companies and their customers


• - Measurement of mechanics and sheet metal

• - Application metrological consultancy on the setting of measurement programs and GD & T


• - Creation and management of programs for use on measuring machines


• - DMIS programming courses dedicated to measurement for customized interfaces or results management
