Avellino's company looks more and more to the eastern
News: PUNTO NETTO looks more and more to the Eastern. The non-destructive magnetoscopic tests of
the Avellino’s company led by the engineer Gaetano Griso, have also been chosen by the Japanese-Taiwanese giant PORITE, world leader in the production of oil-free bearings used in a wide range of sectors, from automotive to consumer electronics, from aeronautics to renewable energy.
At the Modugno plant (Bari) the highly qualified operators of Punto Netto started up a widespread activity of Magnetoscopy requested by MAGNA PT which, during the testing phase on behalf of the Renault group, had reported a presumed non-conformity on a component produced by the Taiwanese multinational.
Therefore, in close coordination with all the interested parties, an important control activity was set up which revealed Punto Netto become an integral part of the whole process of ascending the production chain.
Thanks to twenty years of experience in non-destructive testing, Punto Netto has carried out an accurate investigation of all the components present in the plant, organized in several shifts and with the help of operators for both, the magnetoscopic test and the subsequent cleaning of the pieces.
In order to carry out its activities, in the best possible way, Punto Netto has diverted many resources from all over Italy to Bari, in order to support its non-destructive testing staff. With the aid of a pool of inspectors already present in the plant. Punto Netto carried out mechanical inspections, in compliance with the Uni En Cei 17020 standard, for which the company led by the engineer Gaetano Griso is in the process of being accredited.
The inspection report, generated at the end of the non-destructive magnetoscopic tests, prevented the presumed non-conformities, showing how all the components produced by the colossus Porite were in line with the high quality standard of the components in production at the Modugno plant. This has, in fact, confirmed the Taiwan group as one of the most reliable suppliers in the metalworking sector.
