We make the point… (balance 2014 and the challenges of 2015)
News: We come again, as every year, to review the horizon Punto Netto for what was done in the year 2014 and for what will be done in 2015.
Of what has been achieved over the past year we have kept up to date with our items, nevertheless it seems only right to inform you even better about what happened in the second half of 2014.
First, we can not tell who are proud to have achieved in November OHSAS 18001 for health and safety at work: once again Punto Netto shows sensitivity and attention to the most delicate aspects of the work, and once again he does this before and with the appreciation and support of our customers also.
As for our core business service first of all resident engineering, testing, selection, non-destructive testing and reworking the year 2014 ended with a + 32.5% over the previous year: an excellent result which had few percent correction over the first half of the year for an easing of activity in the last quarter of the year partly due to the completion of some construction sites.
The activities in northern Italy are still not complete but we are realizing yards on second plant plants that are expanding the network point of presence in Piemonte and in Lombardia. On the Italian territory overall increase in the presence of Punto Netto second plant amounted to + 33.3% in the second half. In the industrial area of Bari the number of yards in total performed last semester were broadly in line with those of the same period last year but the number of hours worked was lower for the reduction of selection activities on 24h. In contrast the activities of resident engineering and selections in FCA, both mechanical and bodywork are all up respect on the same period last year and the first half. In particular, the investment plan and the increased skills that have matured in our company are now expressly required and are optimally supporting plants and customers in difficulty to manage the rising production.
Just from the ability to understand the needs of our customers and to organize work for the needs of production we want start in this year 2015.
In particular, the good results of 2014 have enabled us to present a new and important investment plan in one of the most important mechanical plants in the world: the deal is in progress and we hope very soon to be able to announce the details and really innovative.
Always on the road already crossed over the past year we will complete the formation of new specialized operator in the second-level controls CND and specifically in non-destructive ultrasound UT. Already in March 2015 Punto Netto can count on a dozen of its specialists able to carry out tests and selections in the most common types of non-destructive testing: will be a priority for the year 2015 to fully exploit these important skills to the which more and more companies are showing increasing interest.
Another important goal already for the first half of 2015 will be the purchase of sanders and industrial washing machines that will allow Punto Netto can make industrial cleaning services directly and autonomously. Moreover, the delicacy of cleaning operations from rust or other material, requires knowledge of the pieces and their uses, at the same time the timing increasingly stringent for the return of clean pieces are no longer compatible with most operating passages.
More investment, more skills, more direct services are these the target for Punto Netto present itself in 2015 as a major player in the field of quality and services in automotive and mechanic sector.
