News: Punto Netto chooses Intertek on the purpose to harmonise its own certifications about quality and safety management system as well as workers’ health.
In 2017 Punto Netto has accomplished successfully the inspection stage lead by Intertek, one of the most important players providing services in Total Quality Assurance for over 130 years. Punto Netto has chosen to rely on new Certifying Body, official partner of world-class companies to help ensure the quality and safety of their products, processes, and systems.
By the harmonisation of ISO9001 (quality) and OHSAS 18001 (safety) certifications thanks to the work of Intertek, an industry leader with more than 42,000 employees in 1,000 locations in over 100 countries, Punto Netto will build a further competitive advantage, one more attributable to Mr Gaetano Griso, CEO, 20 long year experience engineer in automotive sector.
“After an in-depth audit, Intertek has released a more than positive report, without any type of non-compliance confirming the virtues of the 20 long year acts. We can be proud of the fact that we have achieved such high result and we will benefit from all appreciated suggestions”. Gaetano Griso says. “As we use to do after this important objective achieved we got back to work increasing efforts in order to achieve the next step: The Accreditation for ISO/IEC 17020, essential for to be able to interface with customers offering great added value. The aim is to become third-party inspection institution at national level until next year in industrial sector and in Automotive sector especially.”
The reason Punto Netto chose Intertek is simple: unifying the two certifications, namely ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001, means to cut daily red tape as regards quality management system as well as occupational safety especially.
“It is crucial for us to understand the importance of having rules and procedures about quality and safety subsumed in a single management system – Gaetano Griso underlines – By the way the running together of the two rules has reduced the use of modules, and consequently it has entailed the better use of the time spent in intern audit.”
