Punto Netto sets its sights on the east

News: In Puglia there is a multinational company that points strongly on the territory. It is Getrag, a group belonging to Canadian Magna International, which, after starting work on the expansion of the Bari plant for a total project of more than 100 million, puts on the table other investments to develop the production of new gearbox «7DCT300», a 7-speed gearbox, ever made before, capable of applying the dual-clutch technology to the oil bath.

For the production of this new gearbox, Getrag, one of the world's leading companies of gears and transmissions of the automotive sector, will cooperate with South Korean multinational Youngsin Metal Co Ltd, which supplies the Puglia plant with screws, nuts and thermoformed bolts.

Punto Netto, with a view to consolidate its position in the industrial area of Bari, and to increase its own presence in the Asian market that, currently represents already the 10% of its turnover, has met the overseas business manager of Youngsin Metal Co Ltd to launch the bases for a future partnership with the South Korean group.

Thanks to a close collaboration with the Fontana Group, first fasteners manufacturer to the world, and with Agrati Group, multinational leader in the fastening components and systems, and considering the solid expertise in the field , Punto Netto applied as service provider to respond to the various needs that Youngsin could meet in the productive launch of own components on the new Getrag Gearbox 7DCT300. Besides, from years the company has been working in partnership with other companies of the Asian market such as Shinan precision, Dong Yang Industrial Co Ltd, and Pangeo.

Putting together all these factors will be easy to start a dialogue with the Youngsin Metal that, if it veers toward a partnership with Magna plant in Bari, it will be concretized with the choice of a resident engineering with great experience in the sector of the fasteners, to support the delicate phase of the launch of new products and also for every technical and project need. Obviously, Punto Netto will supply, if necessary, also visual and instrumental inspections.
