PUNTO NETTO ENTERS THE WORLD OF METROLOGY AND DIMENSIONAL CONTROL
Punto Netto enters the world of metrology. In recent months, the Irpinia-based company has broadened its horizons by adding the Coord 3 Universal to its company assets, the latest technology in the new family of Bridge Measuring Machines (CMMs) for dimensional control, analysis and reconstruction of surfaces, by entering into a partnership with the Turin-based company.
An avant-garde machine, verified by Accredia according to the UNI EN ISO 10360-2:2010 standard, characterised by performance at the top of its category and configured with motorised indexable tool-holder heads, point-to-point, continuous and laser probes, the flagship of the Punto Netto Metrology Centre in Modugno - Bari, Italy.
THE PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN PUNTO NETTO AND COORD3
Riccardo Giani, sales manager at Coord3, explains why the Bruzolo - Turin-based company chose Punto Netto as the ideal partner to further expand its service network in southern Italy.
"With the opening of a Service and Support Centre on the outskirts of Bari, Coord3 is opening up to a part of the region with which we have always enjoyed excellent working relations, from Puglia to Campania, including the Adriatic strip and basically the whole of southern Italy. The company's constant expansion, especially in Italy, has led to what Riccardo Giani considers "the most important partnership signed in 2020", the one with Punto Netto.

After overcoming the critical issues arising from the pandemic and the subsequent lockdown, we have put into practice what was in embryo by signing an agreement that will allow us to implement our presence in Italy".
PUNTO NETTO AND COORD3 DEMO CENTER FOR SOUTHERN ITALY
Thanks to the agreement with Punto Netto, the Piedmont-based company will be able to cover more of the Italian territory and be closer to strategic catchment areas such as Campania and Puglia, thus enriching its customer base.

In the Demo Center, by importing, for example, a CAD model, it will be possible to carry out real metrological measurement simulations and experience first-hand the quality of the software that comes with the Coord 3 CMMs and the professionalism of the Punto Netto team based in Modugno.
