Alongside to the FCA plant at Pratola Serra

News: The Punto Netto is pleased to report that had been instructed by FCA, on behalf of the Pratola Serra plant, to support the incoming inspection to strengthen checks on incoming materials.
The agreement is the result of a negotiation in which the Punto Netto has submitted a detailed plan that met the full and convinced interest from the plant. Below, the three key points that give a clear added value on which the FCA Pratola Serra plant, all already known as FMA, both the Punto Netto will achieve reciprocal advantages:

1.       The Punto Netto, which is also specialized in the field of non-destructive testing, will make available to the FMA equipment to perform magnetic particle testing (MT) and for ultrasound testing (UT). Additionally, Punto Netto will provide operators that have  necessary patents.
We believe that this first step will make the following improvements:

To the FMA:
To have  inside the  plant equipment and technicians specialize in finding hidden defects internal components.

Be able to increase the frequency and the number of components to be monitored, because these techniques do not require the destruction of the pieces, as it does conventionally.

Can count on immediate start of checking on doubt supplies for hidden defects.

To the Punto Netto:
To be  the provider of reference for the FMA in the field of non-destructive testing. Acquisition of new activities in the field of non-destructive testing.

2.       In order to increase the level of accuracy and quality of the technical analysis, the Punto Netto, will make a substantial investment to acquire, inside the plant, of instruments such as microscopes and profile projectors for precision measurements and hardness and roughness struments for the evaluation of contact surfaces also curves. We believe that this second point will make the following improvements:

To the FMA:
To have, inside the plant, additional precision instruments suitable for analytical  and  detailed assessments. Avoid selections with working procedure approximated due to the absence or inadequacy of the equipment belong to of the service provider To the  Punto Netto:
To create additional value compared to other competitor companies for technological equipment. Acquisition of new activities in the field of precision measurements.

3.        Actively reinforce checking in incoming also considering the plant standards in the automotive field PAC. The Punto Netto rises as partners Quality Supplies for the control of incoming components before use. We believe that the introduction of preventive Audit bring the following improvements:

To the FMA:
The possibility of making a quote and extended control on all new components that are going to intrude on the engines. The ability to intercept defective supplies before using on  line, reducing the negative impact on the production of non-conforming engines. Greater staff efficiency of Quality Supplies in other activities of own competence. To the  Punto Netto:
Confirmation of the partnership within the Quality controls on supply components in the plant. Scheduling tasks and certainty in the procedure.

The timing of implementation of point 3 are to be considered immediate, for points 1 and 2 are related to the supply of equipment but, however, the whole plan will be fully implemented within a few weeks.
